How you got started with SAR/how long you have been involved: In 2017 a K-9 handler with two K-9s came to Roxann’s place of employment and shared with her the dogs were trained to search for children and adults that got lost.  Roxann was immediately interested and asked a lot of questions. Shortly after she was invited to come to a team training with the unit. Moving forward to 2026 and she has certified three of her own K-9s and has experienced each discipline: Tracking, Area Search and HRD
