How you got started with SAR/how long you have been involved: Nicole got involved in SAR in 2023. While she was originally interested in arson detection before joining SAR; due to the lack of mentorship surrounding that discipline then made her way to our SAR team to further explore the operational world specifically in human remains detection.
Personal Credentials/Dog Credentials:  SAR II Certified; Nicole has over a decade of experience in dog training and handling plus multiple different sport titles on dogs. She has a degree in Sports Marketing and Business and owns a dog boarding and training business in Naples, FL. Her young dog, Journee, is also a Certified First Responder Therapy Dog.
K9’s favorite activities when not participating in SAR: Both love doing anything for a ball and absolutely adore the sport of agility.
