How you got started with SAR/how long you have been involved: When Lauren got Scarlett, she wanted to do something with her. She also was interested in volunteering and came across SWFL K9 Search Unit.
Personal Credentials/Dog Credentials:  SAR II Certified. During Lauren’s career she has accomplished many roles. She currently is a phlebotomist working in a lab under a Patient Care Tech certification. In this role Hazmat Packing and Carrying and Basic Life Support certification is required. Her time in the medical field has lead into critical care as a CNA, also under the PCT certification. During this time, she has also opened an LLC as a photojournalist. Though, currently she only does photography work. Lauren is also a media expert for Zillow; working as a real estate photographer.
K9’s favorite activities when not participating in SAR: Long hikes in nature!
