How you got started with SAR/how long you have been involved: Jessi began her journey in 2025 into Search and Rescue after extensive research and connecting with local teams in the area after moving to SWFL in 2024.

Personal Credentials: With over a decade of experience in dog training and handling, Jessi has titled multiple dogs across various disciplines—some of which have earned recognition at national and even international levels. In addition to her canine expertise, she brings four years of professional experience in emergency management, combining her passion for working dogs with her commitment to community service.

Favorite activities when not participating in SAR: Everything dog! Shelby and Fury are high-drive Dobermans who bring both skill and heart to the team. When they’re not training or preparing for SAR work, they love going for car rides, joining Jessi on long bike rides, and enjoying well-earned afternoon naps.
